Mark is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). His educational journey has given him a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and a Master of Divinity degree from Carey Theological College (Carey). He has also been a student in the Master of Counselling program at City University of Seattle (CityU). His specialized training is with the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) where he is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT).
Mark’s relaxed and relational style helps people feel comfortable to explore their feelings and move forward toward change. He is passionate about helping people live their lives to the fullest potential. Mark sees clients struggling with sexual compulsive behaviours, pornography addiction, addiction and substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, men's issues, self-esteem and identity, and life-transitions. Along with his private practice, Mark is an addictions counsellor at a premier outpatient addiction clinic in Vancouver helping clients through individual and group counselling.
Mark loves family and friends. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. Mark also loves adventures – he enjoys different cultures and has traveled across this globe.
